I use my credit card but understandably i realise that depending on where someone is located that they are unable to use a card, im sorry to hear of your disappointment, im not going to go on about them because not everyone gets the same satisfaction from a company. Just today i finally got a reply and something sorted with another hosting company that i had been using for 2 years, they were ignoring me completely, was very frustrating, while not related to your problem i understand your frustration.
I'm from the UK and using a credit card wasn't a problem for me. I always opt for PayPal when I am trying out a service for the first time (if they have that payment option). It is a lot easier to log into PayPal and dispute a transaction than it is to call a credit card company and get it sorted. Edit: Sorry I meant to add before clicking the post button... not that I did have to dispute the transaction, they did refund me in full without problem.
