    I am currently using hostgator for 2 of my directories and I also like them so far.
    I like the user-friendliness of the format (cpanel, fantastico etc.).
    They seem to be effecient. And the pricing is fair.

    hostgator has deleted one of my directories without any backup. Lucky me I had one. And the pr script doesn't work with them

    You can try Bluehost. I am using Bluehost, Hostgator and Dreamhost. Except Dreamhost others are working fine for me. :)

    Hmmmm no offence to the guys who are already using them, but I wouldn't advise anyone to use Hostgator... within the space of 5 hours I have opened an account with them, had nothing but trouble over their ridiculous "you must verify yourself AFTER you have paid us" policy and ended up telling them to just cancel the account and refund... complete waste of my time.
