Good host for Wordpress

Based on your experience anyone here recommends a good hosting site for blogs, Wordpress in particular? Something that's not expensive too but good support.

I wanna do a few things on my own now. The company where I used to work for on this has been hosting sites on cari.net all the years, and my experience with cari.net guys are excellent. But it's too expensive.

Any recommendations? Bah, I think I might have to go shared first before eventually going to dedicated depending on how this goes. LOL! :D

Every host is good for Wordpress. WP has become such a regular script that a hosting which doesn't fully support it would just fail.

People say that HostGator and HostMonster are good.

Shared hosting will be fine starting out. How much traffic do you anticipate?

I have tried bluehost. I have 2 websites and a forum running wordpress and phpbb. Needless to say, they canceled my account because of heavy usage I don't know what happened. Maybe it was too many script errors, I was running the normal plugins available on wordpress like spamfree, postviews, etc...

I am now using dreamhost they are better. I am still using them, but to host sites that has low visits. Once you hit like 2-3k uniques they will give you problems because it is a shared hosting. You're going to be forced to use their VPS hosting or find another host. Good luck.

I think in my previous company we had like a VPS. Almost like a dedicated server but not as expensive. Any idea how much it would cost?
