    Hello,
Yes, cPanel has one free, which is PHPlist. Even if you don't have cPanel with your host, you can still download the software for free here: http://tincan.co.uk/

I didn't try freeautobot so can't give an opinion.

But for the free autoresponder there are others, like for example Infinite Responder, http://www.ibasics.biz/

    Hope this helps.

Although aweber is the best autoresponder IMO (it's not free however). As far as free goes I'm testing this one http://infinite.ibasics.biz/ for one of my sites

Hi there, sorry its been a while been testing PHPList - but it doesnt automatically send out emails, so went to try out Infinite responder, but don't know how to install MySQL database - never needed them, and when i think im doing the right thing it uploads the database but there is no tables within in it.

    Hi,

I've just finished creating some software that sends out message series to your lists. I use it with PHPList, just import the emails and names into the software. It's a desktop application and it uses your usual SMTP server (the same one you would use in Outlook or Thunderbird). You can set the sending rate to make sure you don't upset your ISP! It's perfectly legal and you just paste in your PHPList (or other) unsubscribe link .

I haven't decided how to sell it yet but if you'd like to give it a try (ie. a free copy ;) ) send me a PM and I'll sort you out :)

try mailchimp, it's free. Consider buying script and have it install in your own server.
