I'm looking to get started on an eBook that I will devote time to as energy and time permit. I'm in school and will continue working 15-20 hours a week as a web content provider, so this is not exactly high on my priority list. I would think that it will take me at least 3 or 4 months to finish a 50-page eBook, longer if the book turned out to be longer. Still, the goal would be to eventually make money off it, and although I love the Chicago White Sox, I'm not sure an eBook on that topic is going to end up being very profitable. Does anyone have any good topic ideas for an eBook? I guess I'm looking for something outside the range of usual suspects. I'm looking for something that would interest me as much for its own sake as for the money-making aspect of it. I'd just like to avoid medical related content, computer tutorial content, and finance content right off the bat. I do plenty of web content writing on these topics and am looking to branch off a little. Can anyone think of a topic off the top of their head that might sound interesting to a 20-something male (me), is in the beginning stages of being popular content on the web, and could fetch some cash 4-6 months down the line? I've just started law school, if that helps anyone think of good topics. Any suggestions appreciated, thanks for taking the time. Brad
How To Graduate Law School Without Being $Thousands In Debt...or something to that effect. Law school students and interests would scramble to get their hands on a well-written, informative book that would allow them to put their six-figure starting salaries in their pockets instead of the pockets of student loan and credit card companies. Hey, that could be turned into tagline. Now that I think about it, I might just write it myself.
This is a good idea, one that I've been loosely toying with, but you put it in the right words and gave it the right focus I think. It would be a good work in progress during my first semester or two of law school and I would obviously be able to incorporate my style and interests into the book to some extent. Thanks for the suggestion. Still looking for others though. Hoping to get started with an outline and preliminary research in a week or so, so I'm trying to kick around ideas until then.
you should wirte a ebook on how to become a successful "web content provider" Always good to write about something you good at. You should sell the ebook on this site payloadz.com/rs/go.asp?rs_id=16736
I wasnt trying to spam, I was giving good info. once he or she is done with their ebook payloadz is a great place to sell their ebook. I resell ebooks their even tho I get the ebooks for free.
That's what roaming in my mind as well! @BSauer Well, you can also have some research on EBooks, like what's sought for, i.e. what people want to read or what sort of EBook most of them would like to buy etc. That may help you to come up with something more profitable!
First, congrats on your entry to law school. I've been planning to for some time now. I was scheduling myself for the LSAT next month, but I'm too busy. I think law school can wait another year. I'm not going for money reasons, so no rush. As to the graduate without being in debt, that's an unlikely story, but if you do it, definitely write about it. I can only think of one way, which would be my method--pay for it from your own cash. Even state schools will run $30k for the three-year program. Upper schools will cost $100k+. Um, good luck with finding 20 hours a week of "free time" as a 1L hahaha. Seriously though, good luck with law school. It's the most challenging experience in academia. If you're relying on a job after you graduate, put school first and make sure your grades are awesome. The competition is fierce.
why don't you write an ebook that sheds light on the easiest ways to get straight As with as little effort as possible. I'm telling you, high school kids, college grads and university students will dig it like crazy!
Making money online is a good topic as well! I can understand why people are so keen on making money online.
be sure that u already making money ... there's too much people, teaching others how to make money but in the end, that's the way they earn that 'money' ... -teach something that u know and succesfull doing it so that u're respected by others as well
How to make money while going to college - List real world jobs like tutoring, being a part-time nanny, pet sitter, dog walker, landscaping, etc., and list online ways to make money by selling at auctions, online surveys, web designer, etc. You could also write about popular hobbies or do a technical manual for the latest electronic gadgets. Sorry if I repeated anything that's already been said.
Perhaps you could write an interesting and entertaining blog on how to survive law school; then you could also leverage the blog to peddle your matching eBook ... with a catchy title like "Law School for Dummies" or "The Law School Survival Manual"?
