What CTR should I be aiming it? I mean, whats a good percentage for me to say that my ads have good placement already. So far, I am averaging 3-5% CTR...
So is this bad? What would be a good percentage?

Sorry if this sounds like a stupid question...

Too many factors to say. I have a site that does 0.5% and a site that does 20%.. It depends on your niche, your traffic, ad placement etc

It depends indeed but 3-5% is not that big. There are some real good examples here of placement of ads that attract a good amount of clicks.

Take a look at the "heatmap" the places that attract the most attention. switch sizes and see if that improves your clickrate.

3-5% is normal if you place ads upper position you can get 10- 12%

Wow, to me 3-5% is good enough. I only managed 1.20% but then this heavily depends on which niche you are in and also on the ad placement.
