Hi, Can anyone recommend a good (free) crash course in Photoshop (or Fireworks) for someone who doesn't have much experience in it? I come from a web development (coding/css) and online marketing (ppc/seo) background and haven't done much in the way of designing buttons, colour schemes for websites etc. Things like doing gradients, using layers etc would be great. Thanks
+1 for Lynda.com. Make sure to get the "One-one-One" courses, Deke McClelland is a really good teacher, he makes learning a less boring chore! ^^ But they are not free of course, unless you know where to search. *hint hint*
Hello friend, there are so many online tutorials are available. You can easily learn this things. I would like to suggest you go to youtube and watch the photoshop tutorial videos. It is easy to learn fast. Thanks -Sam
Check out the tutorial on Gary Simon's site. I'm definitely not a designer but I was able to learn a lot. http://www.garysimon.net/how-to-make-a-website/intro
