Hi What do people think is a good bounce rate for your site? Mine is 18%, is this good or bad? What is your bounce rate?
That's really good. I'd aim for the low teens. Anything over 50% and the site probably needs to be reworked.
Agreed 10% is good. My blog write now is around 50%, obviously I need a lot of work. Of course more traffic would help
50% is damn good for me. especially if my site is new and the content if not very good. But if i have quality contents and I get 10% bounce rate, I would shoot those people who cant appreciate my site. lol
A "good" bounce rate probably depends on how many different posts your site ranks for and how specialized/focused it is. A very large site covering a wide range of topics should probably expect to have a higher bounce rate than a highly specialized niche site. That being said: in the teens is generally considered good for most sites. Congrats.
It's very good. My site bounce rate between 40 to 50%. I have one website and that have only 29% bounce rate
That amount is excellent, I'd shoot for lower if you can get it that low. A percentage of 20% or lower is amazing. 10% and less = Godly
How old is the site and how many vistiors are you getting is also important to say exactly how good a bounce rate is and what you should aim for. If it's a brand new site with hardly any vistis then it will be very low as the only people on it are you and your friends you've told about it. It's harder to have lower bounce rates if you recieve large amounts of traffic. The content of the site is also important. Site's with a nieche market generally tend to have a lower bounce rate than more general sites.
If the bounce rate really works, any one can use to downgrade the competitors site. I think its not link with promotion. And if yes, any proof? please tell
I would suggest that any Bounce Rate over 70% is really bad, 50% or so is acceptable, and below 50% is good.
Isn't the bounce rate, in effect, a measure of how well your website delivers (at first glance, anyway) what someone is led to expect? Sometimes I wonder if changing a meta description or an ad would impact bounce rate more productively than changing the site.
