    What do you think about having a link on 2 good sites, PR6, but both sites giving me the link are on the same IP address. Should be fine right.

    Yes, it will be OK. Just don't get links from dozens of sites on the same IP address.

    do you think they will carry the same weight as if they were on separate addresses

    Separate addresses would be the best option, but since we're talking about just 2 sites here... it will be much or less the same thing.
