I have signed up with getresponse but i am having this problem... i created a web form on my own website and subscribed to it using an alternate email address, i waited and waited and only received the confirmation mail 10 hrs later. As i got few alternate email address, i signed up on my own website on 2 other different days and the result remains the same....I ONLY got the confirmation mail 10-12 hours later. I really disappointed. Anyone can recommend a autoresponse (that YOU are using now) that is: 1) Fast speed mail delivery 2) unlimited members of subscriptions with resonable price( this is why i signed up with getresponse, only pay extra $ after 10,000 members and above) 3) can create a web form and pop up on my own website. If you are using one and feel good about them...please recommend. Thanks.
We use aweber for our little white lies free report and it is fantastic. If you would like to test it out go here http://toothwhiteningclaims.novawhite.com and enter email. There are 7 auto-responders setup to send an email over a specific period of time but you can remove yourself from the list whenever you would like to stop receiving the emails. Hope this helps!
I see that a number of marketers use "Auto Response Plus." You host it on your own website. Some swear by it. I was looking into it because there are no recurring fees. Just pay once. Any one else use it here and what do you think of it?
I am also wanting an auto responder that charges a one time fee and no recurring fees if anyone can suggest one that would be great.
I like aweber as an autoresponder service and AutoresponsePlus.com for autoresponder on my own server.
For someone starting out in IM like myself, I used my background in programming and am writing my own aweber/getresponse clone. Its obviously not going to be as well featured as the big boys, but it will do me fine. So far I have written the code to: - Take details (first name / surname / email address / ip address) and insert into database - Fire off the confirmation email with personalised confirmation link. As soon as its clicked the address is confirmed - Welcome email sent out with personal code to download the welcome 'freebies' - The delete code - one click on the link and they are deleted from the list Now the hard bit for me - actually doing a pretty website for it! I think most people could do it easily - its really easy once you get into it! Cheers Ry
Both GetResponse and Aweber are great. I've used them both and they're pretty similar except that, in my opinion, Aweber makes it easier for the average user to create the form code that goes on your website to capture the visitors' information.
Have you considered using an autoresponder installed on your site? I have had good luck with one called phpautoresponder. It does everything I need it to and it only cost me $29.95 once to buy it instead of paying a service every month. Of course it does require PHP and MySQL be installed on your server.
