Well I wondered what good ideas. I mean it would need initial set-up but only like too hours a week work. Good ones are proxys, but thats all i can think off. What do you think?
many here have there own forum? i don't think how many of those get high traffic like DP so it's not the idea... moreover it's the implementation.
agree completely. and I don't have to deal with anything on the scale of digitalpoint (the site, I meant... that's totally too ambiguous) obviously. there's almost nothing out there that requires no upkeep. you need to monitor that your site's up, that the advertising is optimized, etc. it's been said time and time again but it's really quite true: you need to be able to dedicate a lot of time or a lot of money to really excell at this stuff in the long-term. copying ideas that are all over the place (free proxy scripts) won't get you very far, unless you can add something unique, innovative, and really useful to it.
i don't think with forums like this where the unique traffic you will have much of revenue source coming.... untill you do this for charity
