Good Adwords Book?

I'm looking for a good book about adwords techniques/strategies.
I want a book that's up to date and not aimed at newbies. It should contain information that isn't already available for free at the adwords learning center.

Please recommend me a good book if you know of one.

I keep reading on forums that Perry Marshall's Definitive Guide to Adwords is a good book. Is it really?

Yeah, well I wouldn't say it's the best out there, but it does deliver good information and it is definitely the guide to start from. Perry is famous because he's the ultimate Adwords guru. I would go for it, if you're really new to it and don't have any experience at all.

Well, it's not for me then. Like I said, I'm looking for a book that's not aimed at newbies.

What would you say are some of the best books?

Well, I personally haven't read many Adwords books, I just prefer to learn it all myself, but many people say Beating Adwords is good and is up to date.

If you're an intermediate marketer then I would recomend you go for DJK.

www.moneywithadwords.com/ - here's something might be interesting for you. NOTE: my affiliate link there.

    Thanks for the tip!

Even though that might be a good book (though I read his previous book and found nothing new), the enormous overhyping is a turn-off for me.

Ebooks are written for one reason, to make the author money. Most are just packaged information from forums.

Go to your local bookstore and take a look at the Ultimate Guide to Google AdWords by Perry Marshall and Bryan Todd. Unlike ebooks, you can actually flip through the book and judge for yourself before the purchase whether it will be useful.

I read through it today and did find it worthwhile (and I made a brief blog post about it), and I'm not an AdWords newbie. It contains a lot of tips that go well beyond the AdWord Learning Center.

    Thanks Ghoti. Sounds promising.

    Even though
(from one of the reviews), this book got 5 out of 5 stars from all 21 reviewers. And the price is so low you can't really go wrong with it. I'll order this one for sure. Thank you.

I highly recommend you to take a look at Perry Marshall's products. In my eyes, he is really the adwords guy. You can also check out a great ebook called Google Cash by Chris Carpenter.

I've read the Adwords Miracle, and it's good. Yoou may want to download Brad Callen's Adwords Made Easy.

It's free and excellent. Get it here.

Then if you want to check Perry's ebook, follow ghoti advice.

I bought Perry Marshall's book from Barnes and Noble. Everything he writes is pretty much common sense, but there's so much useful common sense that it makes you realize a lot of things you should be doing and may have overlooked. I didn't really learn anything new, but I had a lot of "duh, why am I not doing that" moments.

If you're looking for something help you to find and plug up all the holes in your adwords campaigns, this book is well worth the $17 on Amazon. If you're looking for some big secret, you're not going to find it in this book or anywhere else. Read the tutorial, put in the time and effort to set up your campaigns right, then test and test some more.

If anyone does no some awesome magic adwords secret, PM me and let me know what it is so I can make more money.

I don't think one book is going to do it. I would recommend buying a couple and formulate different strategies. Chris Mcneeney's Day Job Killer is more intermediate. His first book Adwords Miracle which is more intended for Newbiew and then wrote Project X, then DJK.
His principles are a bit cut throat but are effective nonetheless. I read Beating Adwords, there were some good points but it was a little short in reading. I would recommend Day Job Killer.
    Good Luck,

There are plenty of good Adwords books which you can find on the net. Sort them out accordingly and get specific reviews and comparisons on them which will definitely make it easy for you to decide on one.

No need to buy Perry Marshall's book. Just subscribe to his email list and poke around his website. You will learn everything he teaches in the book in no time. Adwords just isn't that deep...

Considering 'Adwords just isn't that deep' there are still 99.99% of Adwords
users out there who are totally unaware of how to get targeted traffic
for less than 1c per click.

PM me if you want to know more.

    :)
