Good adsense placement

Hi everyone,

Iam using all the 3 adsense contents, 3 ad links, one search in each page of my website.but iam rarely getting clicks like 1 in 30 to 40.Do you recommend me to cut down the no. of adsense ads in each page for better clicks?and suggest me placements if possible.

My opinion: Yes you are using too many ads. Reduce the number and place them above the fold.

what do you mean by fold and shall i place one big rectangle or 2 in each page?

 

'above the fold' means top half of page

It's upto you how many ads you put on your page.

if you have more ads, you will get more clicks. reason less ad is better because with more ads on a single page, sopme ads wil be low paying and you will get paid low overall. with less ads, you wil get higher paying ads displayed first. but if you are not getting any clicks at all, then more ad units is not the problem.

one click in 30 impression is 3%+ CTR which is pretty good for some niche actually

 

It really depend on your website, the best thing for you to do is to make sure those ads are well placed.

 

You don't make money by having more. You make money by having targeted highly relevant ads that get viewed and mean something ... enough to your visitors to get them to read and leave your site via the click.

 

really it depends on you site.first keep the adsense units blended with the template.This is the best way to do.CTR 5 should be minimum.Just try to change the placement and colors till you reach it.
