Hello, here is an example of an ad placement which allows you to put all your allowed adsense on a single page in a big bloc at the top of your page. The big bloc is about 900x300 pixels, it has 3 300x250 adsense blocks and 3 728x15 adlink blocks. It's the total allowed per page. I put it right at the top of my page, exemple for the health tag: http://www.best-reviewer.com/category/health.htm This is a simple but effective ad placement which allows you to put all adsense first and then you have the rest of the page for your content and other things. As you can see the adlink blocks are between the title of the page and the adsense blocks, so it is a buffer in case adsense finds the title too close to adsense block as being "labelling the ads". So, install this block on your own site/blog and enjoy an excellent CTR!
One or two months ago i did something similar with one of my websites,but still the CTR stays at the same level. I sent you the link through PM maybe you can give me some useful tips.
Have you tested changing the Image ads to text ads to see if this makes a difference on conversion? A little bit too 'in your face' for my liking...but good to see it is working for you.
The block looks nice, but have you tried a more discreet way? To go only with one big rectangle, integrated in the text below the headline, and one link block?
I've let the block to text and images, so that adsense chose the best ads between text and images. I like it that way, yes it is 'in your face' but still the eye is attracted to it, which is good
i made that too,and if you think about it clearly the placement is the same.. so the CTR shouldn`t fluctuate
let me show you some facts from the report of the last month. 336X280 - 0,43 CTR 728X15 - 0.36 CTR This month : 728X90 : 0.07 CTR - 34,820 page impressions 160X600 : 0.10 CTR - 34,467 page impressions 336x280 : 0,23 CTR - 20,903 page impressions seriously.. this is WAY TOO LOW ! IT PISSES ME OF l.e : wordpress
If the 336x280 is the one with the most CTR you should make sure it comes first in your html code, which is not the case at all from the site you've sent me. By putting your blocks in the right order you'll increase your eCPM. @mrdeflation: I'm using Drupal theme.
