Hi all Since i updated my site last week my site it cant be found on google unless i put in the whole address, there were keywords where i would show up as number 2 or number 4 (it even states on google webmaster) but now its not even in the top 100 pages of results?? any idea why? thanks
You change anything in your site?? Normally when Google update there SERP then many websites face that kind of problem but after few days sites will back on their keywords.
no, only updated it with more unique content, better layout etc, ok ill check in a few days see what happens.
Just wait a while and see what happens, who knows what google are up to but it may just be moving your listing about.

It might also help to see if who your IP neighbors are if you are on a shared hosting plan. If you have any adult or gambling sites who are blacklisted sharing your IP that can be a reason There are bunch of free IP neighbors tools out there this is one: http://www.dnsqueries.com/en/ip_neighbors.php
Check to see when the last time was that Google crawled your site. This same thing happened to me on Feb. 28 after I dropped a few words from my home page Title and <H1> tags and published my site. Ever since, Google has not crawled my site and even though my pages are still indexed they do not show up in Google searches. Hope this helps, Yeto

Is there any penalty to your site? Maybe, you should share with us the URL to narrow the real cause of your case.
hi all quick update, im still not in the top 200 pages for my keyword - free beats my site is - http://www.freebeat.info (sorry not trying to spam) the site is styled with css and there are alot of pages within the site, ive submitted a sitemap to google which was verified and on my google webmasters it's not showing any crawl errors. ive submitted to well over 200 directories manually and ive been link building every day for weeks now but still no change. according to backlink checkers i have over 700 backlinks, im sure this should in google at least. If anyone can figure out why this is happening i would be very grateful!
