can i have some thoughts about this design, please i can't seem to make myself add anything to the design.. in fact the last 3 designs i have done seem to be incredibly minimalist, has my brain stopped working? or is there enough on this page already?
Support help page and a company policy maybe? BTW why did you make the end of your blue tables the opposite of the left. I think it would look much nicer if they would be the same. Just my idea. What about a find/search box?
This type of site HAS to have a search box in my opinion though. When people are looking for a specific recipe, they want to have it fast.
Simple is good...but I think this is boring. There needs to be something subtle to grab the browser...a picture?

I'm a big fan of simple too. Maybe you could add some pix of apetizing dishes (maybe 50% transparent or something, just to give it some life. Blue/white is good, but it looks cold and lifeless. Remember you have to cater(no pun intended honest) to your target audience, not just what you like. Also I totally agree with the search box.
There should come a search box for sure. What if lets say overtime your websites will have 15000 recipes listed? Do you expect your visitors to scroll through each category to find out after ten minutes of searching that the recipe they were looking for doesnt excist. Dont think so. I know i would go mad. If it aint userfriendly they will leave right a way and will go to your competitor who does have a search box.

If i remember correctly someone was/is selling a recipe database in the buy/trade section maybe you can get it for cheap. Good luck.
