How much traffic? How much from Google searches?

 

I just bought this domain so I don't know traffic yet, but I would assume decent amount

 

I don't see it in the top 100 for board match (no quotes) on the phrase, going to england. Which country are you searching from? I'm in the USA.

It's showing up at #5 for phrase match (with quotes) for "going to england".

It doesn't look like that phrase gets many searches in WordTracker GTrends.



I would think people are going to want to see some stats before parting with a lot of cash for this domain. That's just my opinion of course. I actually like the domain since I'm originally from the UK.

 

I'm interested in the sale of this domain as I used to own it, so let's see how much I missed out on

Did you own it recently? I noticed that it dropped recently along with goingtoamsterdam.com, goingtosingapore.com, goingtosouthafrica.com and goingtounitedkingdom.com.

I love the name but I would prefer goingtouk.com

 

Naah, I had it a couple months ago (it dropped then) and sold it on. Not sure if I sold it to the OP or to someone else

 

Well, there is a very simple explanation to your attempt , which by the way, I appreciate, to wary potential buyers, but it was not indexed when I purchased it, and I got it indexed and ranking for the term just recently, actually, within the last few days, so the database of seodigger or wordtracker would not show up quite yet as those databases are huge, they do not update on the fly.

The best thing a buyer can do is actually search on google themselves and let the results speak for themselves, I only put the screen shot there for visual aid, but I HIGHLY recommend you look up the search result yourself and see that it is ranking, without the quotes or anything else.

Wordtracker isn't tracking your domain, it's tracking the phrase which existed long before you bought the domain. It has no data for that phrase presumably because it doesn't get that many searches in Google.

I also checked in Google Trends using a little trick to compare the phrase "going to england" with a phrase where the number of daily Google searches is known (don't ask me the phrase).

According to my data, the phrase "going to england" doesn't get very many searches at all. But that's my opinion, feel free to prove me wrong if you have stats of search engine traffic for that phrase.

Also searching for "going to england", without the quotes I don't see your domain in the first 100 results. If i'm doing something wrong let me know. I just don't see your domain in the top 100 for broad match.

Like I said it comes up in #5 for phrase match with quotes round it. It could be some weird Google thing or I could just be stupid.

I know I can't be that stupid because I just took a dropped domain from PR0 to PR6 in less than 40 days.

Like I said, I like the domain and I'm sure you'll sell it. I just don't see it returned in Google for the phrase you specified unless I put quotes around it. And I don't see any evidence of major traffic from searches for the phrase.

 

I don't know what is wrong with your google, but I checked both google.com, google.co.uk multiple times and had a friend do it as well and it was ranking #5 - #6 on all of them for the broad term going to england.

I thought a screenshot and telling you to manually search it yourself would be enough, but someone else please verify for my sanity that it is ranking #5 or #6 for the BROAD term going to england on google, either co.uk or .com

It's bugging me just a much as it's bugging you.

I did a search in IE and Firefox and used a few different proxies and I don't see your site anywhere in the top 100 for broad match.

It looks like your domain dropped out of the search results which a lot of new domains do temporalily. Either that or you've been placed in the sandbox.... or i'm going crazy and everyone else can see what you see.

Please can someone check in their browser and if it's just me I'll shut up.

I used google.co.uk and google.com and couldn't find it anywhere near the first page

no it is not showing up in first 100 results with or without quotes..and it has just one page that was cahced on 19th Oct...so if your search is before that the position may have changed..

Not sure what happened but I now see it at #6 in google.com without the "".

I think perhaps it dropped from the search results temporalily as a lot of new domains do as Google reorders everything.
