    Dear All,

I want to create a forum based based on political and cultural issues, people interacting with each other , discussions on all sorts of topics.

Now I think VB would be best for this. However, want to collect your thoughts on this weather to go for the purchase or some other software could do the job.

Your feedback and suggestions would be greatly welcome

    Thanks

    I'm not a man..hehehhehehehe but that's okay!

Vbulletin is a simple software to use. I am not very good with coding. If I can do it anyone can. Also, if you go to their website, they have a test forum. You can actually test it. I did this before I bought it to make sure, I could handle it. Although, I had experience as an admin, I was afraid to actually start from scratch to set up a forum but I did really well. I think you'll be pleased with vbulletin.

You could use a free software to do it. However I think you will find your self having to make alot of manual modifications which can cause alot of problems.

If money is the only issue why not use free software untill your website has generated enough income to pay for the licence.

Consider buying IPB.. IPB3 which will come out soon is a lot more powerful and search engine friendly than vb :)
