I am trying to acquire a content / article writer and I am not sure how much to pay, does anyone know the going rate? Average article size is 250 words with pictures. Smaller articles would be about 100-150 words. Trying to close the deal but not sure how much to offer as it is up in the air and I only want to offer her a fair price. Thanks, Juls
I am capable of writing quality articles on just about any topic. I research the topic on my own, and target the content to your desired audience. PM me for Rate
What about free articles that you can reprint just with author copyright included? It can be also good source for new content. For example: http://www.articlesfactory.com/
We normally charge $20 per each set of three articles between 20o to 300 words. Some people charge more, some charge less... Ask your writer for a sample and try to give her a fair rate, according to the quality of her work.
It is also important to determine the amount of research involved in the task. If the issue is too specific and requires a lot of research, it may cost you a little more- but it is only fair. I hope that helps.
I usually buy articles that are between 500 and 1000 words. I try to stay under $50 for them; but if I know the writer and their quality is good, I'll pay more than that.
Yep. If I go to elance, I get em cheaper, but the quality isn't nearly as high as going to people who do it for a living. Its a cost I'd like to cut down, but the results for me are very tangible, I consider each an investment.
Hi, My normal rates for articles for the web are $5 per 100 - 300 words $7 per 300 - 400 words You are more than welcome to PM me or visit my website for ratings, reviews and sample articles. http://www.write4u.info
Hi, I, too, write keyword articles and web content. I have branched out on my own, after 18 months of writing for content brokers. I have also been published in several parenting magazines (print issues) and numerous places online. It's my understanding that I cannot post my link until have earned 10 points. Feel free to email me for my URL. I am currently trying to build my client base. So, I am willing to negotiate the fees that are posted on my site, especially for larger orders. Merry
Two posts above you is Serenity who charges less than $10 and is quite good. Take a look in Buy/Sell/Trade. There are probably 10-15 content writers in that range
i have a writer that i got thru elance who does great stuff (some others from elance have been pretty bad though). serenity's work is good too - I've bought some articles from her. Writing is tough, cuz - if you are like me - you can write, but its hard to make it interesting or put enough "fluff" in there so its not too dry and worth looking at.
I really agree with this. I write full-time, for a living, and I charge in the region of $50 per 500 words for web content. To be honest, for a professional writer, that's still pretty cheap: I get a lot of my work via marketing agencies who will only use experienced writers, and they pay considerably more than that. On the other hand, I run a jobs site for freelance writers, and some of them will charge as low as $5 per article. I suspect these writers are hobbyists, who have another job to pay the mortgage, because a professional writer wouldn't do it for that. I guess it depends on what you're looking for.
Regular rate on scriptlance is 5-7 dollars per article. The bidder will always give some sample work before you buy.
