I am wanting to take my site from a windows server (that I own) and move about 8 pages (all non system pages) to a linux server and possibly a wordpress platform I have an ssl sql system that will remain on my windows server but do not want to give any page rank up and am not sure of the best way to accomplish this. Anyone have ideas?

go hosting company or lease a vps. Ask your familiar developer about porting your site to php/mysql. I think you would owe some beer then.

    PR is not platform dependent.

Ya i agree with Mia, pagerank is not platform depended, if you can rent a coder to convert your site in to php/mysql you can move fully to linux server.

Moving from windows to linux isn't a big issue. If your pages have any system paths then you'd need to edit those, but if they are just standard web pages there really isn't much to do at all except move the pages over.

PR solely depends on the quantity and quality of your backlinks. Hosting platform has no interaction with PR.

All the above posts are absolutely right but still if you have queries you can consult any SEO company or individual.
