don't trust iwebtool, because my blog also predicted to be pr5 in next update, but actually I need 6 month to reach it..
When counting those links, you need to also factor how many links are coming from that page. If there is a PR7 page with just one link on it, that is twice as valuable as a PR7 page with two links on it. If it has 20 links on it (probably about average for a given page), then you're only getting 1/20th of the link juice.
darnit iwebtool... the site that I -thought- would go to PR5 is now showing it's predicting a drop to PR2.... i hope it's wrong...
getting to PR5 is easy..then it gets harder. although, i got Pr5 in first update which was 2 months after i launched my blog and got Pr 6 in the next update when my blog was only 5 months old. so nothing is impossible. The key is to write good articles which will be automatically linked by high authority sites passing you the juice. PR is nothing to worry about unless you sell links..just relax
Probably. Depends how many other links are on those pages. If you're one link of 100 on the PR7 page it wouldn't help a whole lot.
