Going from PR4 to PR5 using SEO

    Hey guys,

We've got a recently launched website, and recently got our PR4 rating. We kind of hoping to reach PR5 by October/November, if that is possible. And that is what I'm here for - to ask you if it is possible, and if yes, how do we increase our chances of this? I've included the website at the bottom of this post. Could you maybe share any advice or experience of how did you go about this one? Any criticism of the website would also be very welcome.

Is there a point in investing into SEO at this stage? We have daily content published on the website, but I don't think that is enough. Is it worth buying any advertisement at the moment, or not really? Thank you for any tips, advice and criticism people! We appreciate it!

    That's the website: http://www.thegamerschallenge.com

I would build a tiered link structure as described here http://www.matthewwoodward.co.uk/tutorials/the-ultimate-guide-to-tiered-link-building-part-1/

That will ensure you get a bump up in page rank in the next update.

Typically what happens for me once I've built the tiered structure is in the next PR update all of the tier 1 links become PR2-4 and then on the next PR update my main site gets a PR of 4-5. If you already have an established PR4 site there is no reason it wouldn't go to PR5 if not PR6.
