Going from beta to release, what do you think?

http://www.Qriosity.com is in prerelease now.

Any ideas and suggestions are greatly appreciated, but please pay most of your attention to these areas:
1) Design
2) Ease of use
3) Information
4) SEO
5) Functionality
6) Would you use it? Why?

 

I only comment the design, layout, color and design are good, clean and simple. But the right box is too wide, it's make empty space on adsense left and right side.

 

agreed with the above - the adsense box is too wide.
other tahn that i actaully realy like your colour scheme.

I like the homepage design but I am not sure why are you showing vids in a dialog box instead of showing em on a new page [ you can place ads there aswell ].

 

Vids show in the new page... I just don't have any ads yet, since I am barely getting any traffic yet.

 

Any good reviews anybody?

 

You might also remove the border around the adsense entirely to make it blend in more

 

Better make video play in same window it will help you in getting more impressions in Adsense and clicks

 

I'd add NOINDEX tags to your unimportant no-content pages (contact us, etc.).

 

Make the adsense box a bit smaller, the rest is pretty good

 

I really like it, it looks great and I love the way the videos pop-up in a small box. You have the right idea, cater for user experience, not for adsense.

you mean nofollow? I agree... There is a lot of SEO to do and that one is on my list... It's not just just no content pages, I think I would have to do it to almost all the pages since the content is changing every day and pages do not stay the same...

 

Yes, adsense impressions are not the main concern while I have only few unique visitors a day... I think it is more convenient to have a new window open that is the size of the video.

As for ads, I think ads on the right side is more then enough...
The box is a little wide for now, but I think it draws some attention since this is the only place on the site where I have ads. Plus, everything fits as needed, I think that space would be a waist if I would use it in any other way. Do you think I am wrong?

 

What makes this any different then the thousands of other sites just like this? You need to find a differentiator!
