Going from 3,000 impressions to 30,000 impressions with digg

    Ok, so I started this site about 3 weeks ago. I get about 3,000 impressions a day according to adsense. I've had 4 digg effects recently, and impressions are up to 20,000-40,000 a day for the last couple days. Is this a bad thing, will google ban my account? Should I do something?

    Google will take a close look at your site but you'll be fine since the traffic is from digg. You could email google explaing the traffic jump but you don't have to

    Congrats on this hugeeee jump... If u have not done anything wrong then google wont bann u.... if they mail u regarding this then explain them they will do nothing as the traffic is genuine... :)

    I've had huge increases like this from Digg, Gizmodo and being on the radio.. No problems whatsoever..

    some people will say report any big surge of traffic.
    google knows where your traffic is coming from so there is no need to do that.
    on the other hand,if you get a big surge of traffic that has no referral,you should let them know whats going on.
