Not sure what you mean prevent it 'from'? Do you mean prevent it from being affected by? If that is the case, then it seems that it was all about penalising those sites which do not contribute quality and original content. So look at the content of your sites and make sure they contain good content, which is all your own!

    Consider these points:-

Your website content should be unique.
    Don't do poor link building.
Don't have lots of ads on your site.

Well a relatively huge number of high quality websites are affected by Panda. Google has admitted that ( See Matt Cutts interview with Danny Sulivan).

I think that this is the beginning of the end of google. Use other search engines.

Whether it was effected by Panda is not the best question. Instead ask, where is original content on my site? There is absolutely nothing wrong with your site, as it is currently. You have a great deal of content indexed, with very little duplication, and there doesn't appear to be anything technical that would harm your ranking.

Please look after the following points -
    1. Unique contents are highly appreciated
    2. Google will look for feedback
    3. User comfort level is considered
    4. Too many ads will be a problem

I think, no effect of Google Panda Update will be there.

If by 'prevent' you mean that 'how not to get affected' by it then, firstly, be clear in your mind that it is not a bad algorithm. It is just a change made by google to make sure that the websites must be 'rich' in content. You only have some points to keep in mind:
    1. Your website has been genuine, fresh and updated data or content.(it is not like cut-copy-paste type data)
    2. Your website has to pass a human inspection(think like a user).
    3. It must not be full of advertisement.

The best way to not get hit by the panda is by creating unique and fresh content. The panda update of google penalize those sites with duplicate content. It would be best if you make your own article and not by copying others work.

Everyone knows that content is always the kink and how much big G like unique content.

By doing the following things i hope you will not be effect by Google.
    1. Unique and high quality content
    2. Removed or add noindex tag in old post/pages
    3. Take one way backlink from High PR webs
    4. Do social media for each of you new post/page

We'll I don't think that this the end of the Google but in my observation this the beginning of the new search world and Google didn't say that they had done any mistake or something so people think that this is the end of Google even the high rankings websites like ezine, ehow etc are working harder to get back there ranking because everyone know that how much $$$ they are making from big G as compared to other search engines.
