The referral 2.0 scam is a rip off for publishers for the simple fact that most of the advertiser landing pages show nothing for the viewer to buy. If there's nothing to buy, there's nothing to convert and the publisher wastes valuable CPC space. It's a great deal for an advertiser who wants quality traffic for his brand. If there are no conversions they don't pay anything. I wonder why all advertisers haven't caught on to this gravy train yet.
When you log into your Adsense control panel it is under Referrals. I think you have to be upgraded to Referral 2.0. It is simply an expanded list of advertisers who refer their products and services. If you haven't been upgraded, you won't see an expanded list of products.
Thanks for the clarification. When I go to the "AdSense Setup" tab and then "Products", I see: "AdSense for Content", "AdSense for Search", and "Referrals" links. When I click on the "Referrals" link, I get a page listing all sorts of categories, but no reference to "Referrals 2.0". So, I guess I am not "upgraded". How does one get upgraded anyway?
I added my Referral Snapshot. This is my Adsense Referral Panel View I hope this The 2.0 Referral Am i Right Guyz ? Ohhh This Is my First Post in This Forum Hi Everybody How Are you All ?
I saw that last time I was checking my earnings. I click on it and it didn't make any sense to me, but I wondered what it was all about...
haven't been using referral...only using the Firefox...and only 1 click for 2 months now...hahahhaha... i wonder why google doesn't check the landing page for all referral...if the landing page doesn't encouraging enough then google should advice them... at least that's what i think...
Really poor yes. I haven't had much luck in the referrals other than those offered by google. I guess we should all start reading the DP affiliates forums for tips on how to use those effectively.
I am an exception I think , I am making good amount of money adsense referrals some day I make more earning than adsense for content earning from referral.
I'm using 2.0 Referral. A lot of clicks, but a very low conversion rate. Hope that this will change soon.
