I hate Godaddy's auto-renewal feature. I don't know where they make me accept the auto-renewal when I buy a domain...just got charged some money for a domain I did not intend to renew! And its not the first time it happened. Do you guys normally have it on auto-renew when you buy from Godaddy?
Yes Go Daddy's interface is a hassle as it's really complex but sometimes auto renewals are helpful if you forget to renew ...so it keeps your domains safe... I think by default the auto renew is on for your domains when you sign up an account and fill in your account/card details.
Yeah but they charge the full price in auto renewals..if I renew manually I can add a coupon and get a discount. Its a subtle form of cheating if they don't clearly shows us where to select/unselect the auto renewal feature
ah it is a good idea to renew manually using coupon code, thanks. If you want to change for not auto renewal in godaddy is easy, just go to domain manager and check or uncheck with your domain, sellect the renewal menu and then unselect renewal option very easy, just need a couple of minutes in godaddy domain manager
