Godaddy's annoying 10 page registration

I just registered a domain and noticed that a .WS was tagged on to the order without my doing  is there any way I can get my money back? I know as a fact that I neither added it on purpose or even clicked the box by mistake...I've never dealt with their customer service before, and I don't know if such a thing can be reversed...

That thing is absolutely horrible, I'm not surprised you ordered extra crap by accident.

I have found Godaddy's customer service to be excellent in the past and I can remember them giving me a refund for something but im pretty sure it wasn't for a domain

That is the major annoyance of godaddy, they put in all these special offers, and your name domain, etc.

This is why I like namecheap, it is simple and to the point.

Good luck to getting a refund on that!

I actually got my refund today, thankfully! Seemed to be pretty painless.

Yeah the godaddy registration pages try to confuse you into clicking something so they make money.....sound oddly familiar somehow... :D

Yea, you gotta be careful with GoDaddy's payment process. If you're not careful, you could end up selling your left testicle to the North Korean gov't for testing purposes.

Glad to hear you got your refund. :) I've always had good luck with GoDaddy's customer service.

I always go through their process slowly and check and check again, just incase theres something attached that i hadn't intended on buying.

In a way you cant blame a company for trying to sell you a few more things while your there, and often it makes sense as you may want a few addons with your domain.

But as a buyer myself, i can definately understand and agree with peoples frustration when purchasing at godaddy, maybe they could alter things slightly, making it less intrusive.

Im sure they will have lost a few potential new customers over the years through people getting confused or fed up.

    Ouch  .....lol

With Godaddy, if you don't want to go through their 10 page sales addon, you just click on the bottom of the page "No, bypass to checkout process" or something similar what it says
