You are right - you can add a website for free. They are ad supported sites though (if you have just purchased domain name(s) from GD.

You have 7 credits - thus can host 7 sites.

    Thx

It's more like a parked page, but they make money on the ads. You can stick a backlink on them, though. Personally I'd rather just use parked.com.

If you really want free hosting, the GoDaddy free hosting works ok, but as others have said, it puts ads on your page. I've used it a few times, but always end up moving pages pretty quickly into a subdomain at my regular host.

IMO you shouldn't host on godaddy if you've got your domains there too... that's just asking for trouble if there's any problems

ya, you can put up a site for free at godaddy but they put ads on the top of the page, and there noway to block it, unless u tell ur user use adblock to block it. the worst is, u cant install Wordpress and some application, only some allow like joomla

I personally think that the free hosting is not worth the hassle because of the free ads on the page(s). GoDaddy offers some really cheap hosting plans, and you can do anything you want for just a few dollars a month. I like having the control over how I set up my site.
