I've used namecheap for over a year now, and have never had a problem with them, I've never used godaddy before, however I've heard very mixed reviews about them.

    NameCheap is the Best

These days GoDaddy Provide worse Security.
Recently my friend's GoDaddy Account hacked and the hacker transfer the domain to enom and surprisingly the domain transfer complete within 24 hrs. The Hacker change all security settings like email,iPin, address and all other thing.

I just notice that the Homepage (http://in.godaddy.com/) is not protected with HTTPS. So there are high chance that hacker can easily stole your login details.

I honestly prefer NameCheap. I find it much easier to purchase domains with them than I do with GoDaddy. I did use GoDaddy once but I found managing my domains quite hard.

Godaddy was my first host, I wasn't experienced with domains back then and I had alot of questions. GoDaddy's support was great, they answered all my questions without any problems.

The uptime is perfect, I have never had any downtime. There are also a lot of features, which are nice extras ;)

    I've been online since 97
Godaddy for me was a terrible mistake. I had all kinds of problems with them and swore i'd never buy another domain with them EVER !

As for namecheap, i got over a 100 domains with them and i have NOTHING bad to say. Perfect 10
    Go for it guys

I like Namecheap. The site looks better and easier to use. Support is also reliable. I think both are just the same, a few differences yet the services are both superb. It's just a getting used to thing. I got used to using NC since day 1 of having a site 6 years ago.
