What domain registrar do you all like best? GoDaddy or Namecheap? I like godaddy because they have the paypal on account thing which makes it very easy to buy domains.

Namecheap is cheaper and also allows you to pay via paypal too. At least Namecheap doesn't prevent me from using them like Godaddy.

Namecheap all the way. It is is much easier to do everything and there aren't as many problems. To push a domain in Namecheap, all you need is the person's username, not like in GoDaddy their name, address, and other info.

None of them, Dynadot and DomainSite are cheaper and easier than GoDaddy and NameCheap.

Both accept PayPal and even Moneybookers at DynaDot.

I used Godaddy once because of the diggnation commercials, and I've got to say the following:

Godaddy blows because they try to flog the rest of their stuff onto you on checkout (it takes about 15 minutes longer to get to the payment stage than usual), and they aren't all that cheap anyway. Even with the codes. It's almost impossible to get your domain at their advertised price.

I despise Godaddy as far as hosting goes, and wouldn't use them again, but I use them for most of my domains. While I've gotten them cheaper elsewhere, I get them for around $7 now (just sign up for the $4.99 online storage folder - which I don't bother actually using) to get the $1.99 domain - works out cheaper than registration alone, then use the 10% code or whatever at the end. It's easy enough to manage them, they process registrations extremely quickly unlike some others I've used, and it's easy enough to skip the add-on ads during checkout... just click the little check box or radio button or whatever it is saying to go right to checkout. Plus having the paypal account set up there just makes my life easier.

I prefer namecheap just because it's the first one I used. GoDaddy is not very user friendly and inviting to someone new to domains.

I don't think domain site and namecheap are the cheapest.
You can buy domain in godaddy for $1.99only together with their hosting for $3+.
You can also buy domain in godaddy just like domainsite it will cost you $6.99 if you enter the code SAVETEN and also if you will register for 5+ years you will have more discount. The cheapest I've bought is around $4.
And also I prefer GoDaddy because their customer support is very reliable.ca

    I like godaddy better

I do see how they push a lot of crap on ya, but one click at
quick checkout" takes most of that away..
It's not that big of an issue to me..

    Enom to be exact ;)

I like namecheap as well compare to GD. Their control panel is much better, it's much easier to register and push a domain.
