I personally use myzoz dot com which is a godaddy reseller manged by godaddy and they usually have cheaper prices than godaddy.

Namecheap is definitely the best here.

Yeah, name.com is highly recommended. Though I like chat support feature but their email support is just as fine.

Why register all your domains with one? Name, NameCheap and Godaddy are all good. Name and Namecheap also give you privacy.
Godaddy is an Upsell Machine, but I have never had a problem with them. You may want to stay away from hosting with them.

Pushes and transfers with Namecheap are very easy. Their support is excellent. I once ordered a domain and it did not show up in my account. Within four minutes of my ticket, I had my domain back.

They are a bit on the expensive side though, but it seems well worth it.

Right. If Namecheap could offer a free whois privacy protection, why is Godaddy selling it at $8 a year? Privacy is our right. It shouldn't come with a price.

I hate the way GoDaddy try's to up-sell all the time... and their interface sucks! As a result, I've been using NameCheap for years and have never had a problem.

    NameCheap gets my vote :)

Godaddy interface is confusing, might be they have a lot of functions than other domain registration companies.

I buy with godaddy only for domains that I am going to sell later. Their coupons make them really cheap to buy domains from but I have heard also some scary stories with godaddy "kidnapping" domains, so I am not 100% sure about them. Also their interface is very confusing and if you want to transfer a domain out of godaddy, the procedure is so complicated for first time users that most of the time the transfer will fail!

when I am serious about my domains I always use namecheap. They offer free whois protection and ssl certificates at the moment and never had or heard problems with them.

Definitely Namecheap.com. I have existing domains with GoDaddy, but after hearing of the 1 spam complaint and you are gone policy from GoDaddy I won't be keeping my domains there for long. You can get domain + privacy protection for less than $10 at namecheap.com. At GoDaddy that would cost around $16 to $20 depending how good a discount you got on the domain. That is another reason why I will be moving to Namecheap.com.

I am with Godaddy ( but I have few domains in others ) , and I think it is OK .
I got free privacy protection when I registered 10+ domains !
but I don't know for how long .
I was planning to move some of my domians which will expire soon to Enom
    just because I think it's better to deal with 2 domains registrars ! ( don't know why ?! )
But I did't transfere to Enom coz they are very expensive .
I may go to another company , maybe name.com .

Godaddy has been so aggressive in advertising and marketing. Namecheap is kind of hidden diamond. I wish Godaddy would give a free whois protection like namecheap does. If Namecheap can give it FREE, why can't Godaddy do the same?

I think all registrars can give " whois protection " , but some of
them want our money for " extra cost-less services " !
