I've searched the forums, and haven't found this question answered elsewhere, so I'll ask here. I know that there's a 60 day lock on domains registered with GoDaddy, but say I buy a domain from someone else, that has been registered by them for longer, may I transfer it once GoDaddy sets the status in my Domain Manager as "Active - Unlocked" I know that I'm able to transfer it at this status, but am I actually permitted to under GoDaddy's TOS? I'd appreciate your help here, Thanks
Under any registrar TOS, domains can be pushed between the same registrar's accounts regardless if domains are locked or not or if they were registered/transferred less than 60 days ago. Someone correct me if I'm wrong
No, the 60 days rule apply to all domains, but transferring from one domain to another. It doesn't apply transferring from one Godaddy's user to another Godaddy's user in your case, only that such transaction is called "push"
this was very useful information, thanks. I don't think I saw anything in their faq section regarding this "push". Did I just overlook it or something?
