Godaddy the BEGGAR!!!

Have you noticed Godaddy uses SSL certificate (https in the URL) issued by Vialcert.com.

Godaddy claims that every second SSL certificate in the world is purchased from Godaddy.

Godaddy claims, It is the biggest SSL certificate seller in the world (Even Verisign is nothing in front of them.)

Then I ask why doesn't Godaddy use its own certificate? (The best according to them:D)
Why does this beggar, the worlds biggest issuer have to depend on others certificate?:D:D:D

If I start a web designing company and I pay another company for my website means I can't make a site?

    This is nothing uncommon.
    They do this as backup.
Let take hosting for example,i'll host my primary hosting site at many place to get the redundancy effect.
If my own server down,my customer still can have access to my hosting site to open ticket.

Yep, mentos is right. If for some reason, their SSL cert doesn't work so fine, it makes "your" financial details exposed to hackers. You don't want that do you?

Idk why certain people always try to put Godaddy down.
I've used their hosting, domain, and cash parking services for 2 years now and have NEVER had a problem.
When my hosting wasn't set (due to my own fault) I called c/s and they took care of it immediately.
If you don't like their SSL, don't use it.
If you don't like their hosting, etc. Don't use it.

Well, there is one downside of godaddy, it tries to charge you for everything... and the worst part: Ads, you need to go through so many offers to register *one* domain name...
