    Hi,
I am planning to use godaddy for registration of my domain names.
I was planning to use hostgator for the hosting plan, my idea was to use the template (dont laugh) to get me up and running quickly..

What I wanted to know was if godaddy had templates and simplicity to set up a website like hostGator ?

I am only starting out so wanted to get the site up quickly at first..

My main site will need a photo gallery is thats of any help..

So should I stick to my origional plan and buy domains at godaddy and host with gator ?

    Or

Buy domains with godaddy and get godaddy to host ?

I want about 5 domains (might increase) and one hosting plan..

    Kathy

Any advice or ideas very much appreciated !!!

I don't know about godaddy templates.

But what I know is that godaddy host is a joke. I definitely recommend hostgator, I host there several sites, it's fast and the support is OK and they have tons of templates.
Hostgator has SSH access, latest Control Panel. Godaddy even has no normal CP

Never host with the registrar of your domain name. It gives them too much power.

I'd go with Host Gator, personally.

I've heard BlueHost.com is pretty good, too, but have never used them.

    Have a nice day.

Hostgator has a sitebuilder/template option if that's what you want to start out with and fantastico which will be helpful for you to try out content management systems for your site like wordpress, joomla, drupel, etc.

I suggest get the domain at godaddy and host it somewhee else, godaddy's hosting is not really convenient and its a pain to manage and setup.(from experience)
