    Authorization Code: Send by Email (The only choice offered)
    ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
    • I'm on the Godaddy site, which uses secure https
    • Now, unlike other registrars...
    • ...To get the auth codes they require I request them by email
    • email is not secure compared to https
    Can anyone explain why they would do this? :confused:
    Websites are Password controlled and when someone hacked in there, they can access your details whether the site is secured or not. Email goes only to your email account only.
    It is not really a big issue really. If you want to know they do this, you will need to ask GoDaddy directly, they only know why they do what they do. We would not know.
