I have recently bought a domain and web hosting from godaddy.com. I wanted to build my website however I made a mistake unintentionally. I applied "a free Hosting credit," and activated "Free Hosting with domain - Economy Hosting - (Free with Domain)". I installed some applications and created the database on this account. I noticed the mistake after that I attached my domain name to this free hosting account. Also some stupid ads on my page. I decided to cancel this Free Hosting with domain account. I canceled it and now there is only an account that I paid recently. However, now, I cannot use this hosting account with my domain. Because when I tried to setup my hosting account and to enter my domain name, I receive the message below in Account details of the Hosting Control Center: Your domain xxxxxxxxx.com is not available for this hosting account. Setup can not continue because this domain is being used by the following application: Hosting When I check my domain on the web, the remains of the previous account are still there. All I understand is that I have to wait for server?... How can I attach my domain name to my paid hosting account?
you should mail godaddy, informing them about your problem. i think they will connect your domain to your paid hosting
Just go kill some time.. come back in like an hour.. and you will be able to apply that domain to a hosting account again.
