Is godaddy allowed to lock my domain for 60 days if the owner didnt change when i transfered the domain to them

I only heared about 60 client transfer locks if the owner changes !!!

I transfered a domain to goaddy one week ago...
And their DNS is 100 absolutely useless to me....

Daaaamn ... im not gonna frame mask my domain with them....

What do they mean when thay say its riskfree to transfer a doamin to them.
Now i will lose 1k USD per month untill i can transfer the domain again...

They dont even allow to transfer the domain back to where it came from ???
( i unlocked the domain in my account management when i tried to transfer it away ) But the transfer was denied.

I emailed them before i transfered to them... and they said RISK FREE !!!
    Best service...

What you heard was WRONG. The domain is locked for 60 days when the REGISTRAR is chnaged.
You have to flush the DNS cache in your computer after chaning DNS for your domain. Otherwise, you will continue to see the old stuff.
On the other hand, are you trying to use GoDaddy's DNS and do a forwarding? It takes about 10 mins to take effect.

    Well...
The site is located at omnis.
An A record to my omnis IP is not allowed.

The godaddy url masking made me lose 500 of my most important SE listings and some of the scripts don¨t work with their frames.
Even adsense doenst run correctly ith frames...
Well... it does run... But if you have site targeted ads their system thinks you are at the underying system and the original CPMs get lost...
    Even when u use mod_rewrite...

Paying even more to godaddy for their webspace is no option...
It will take me weeks or even month until i can run everything on godaddy.

I know it takes a while for DNS setup to refresh....

Ive been i week with them now......far tooooo long

Cant u just give them a few hundred dollars to get rid of them???

You can dispute the transfer with your original registrar. They can only transfer back to the losing registrar in case of dispute.
