Godaddy is really more of a domain company than a hosting company in my opinion. They just ride on the fact that domains and hosting go together. If you are looking for a solid host then consider one that offers cPanel and has a solid reputation and longevity within the hosting industry. Going to Godaddy for hosting is like going to a grocery store to buy carpentry tools. Use a specialist for your hosting needs.
Infact, you may consider to move to a new provider? Installing Wordpress that took a period to successfully done? is that a jokes? I never have this experience with my softaculous via cPanel.
I liked the line "I dont need a romantic novel" but I mean that should be up to you to backup your website and restore it if it gets hacked (honestly) IMO that isn't a hosting companies burden. I personally use Hostgator, and have been for 3+ years. I love them. Great pricing. Cpanel. Live Chat is fast. Simple. F*** GO DADDY. Even for hosting a domain I would NEVER use GoDaddy. It's not worth it. The only good part is when you call tech support, some dude in Florida with a ceasar answers, I can understand what they say. Other then that terrible offers, terrible support, terrible service. SCREW GODADDY. I cant get over that "one script install" crap LMAO!
I heard a big number of negative feedbacks on godaddy so you I think they should be used only as registrar
