Error: Could not get contacts needed for adding domain:

We will evaluate this error and retry the registration

Most likely it is just a temporary error - server timeout or something like this. Try to register the domain later. Also check in whois if the domain is available in web.

    I don't think thats godaddy's fault. It's probably just a rare error.

I own around 50 domains and personally have never had that problem.

    Sorry about your situation though.

I also have a lot of names with godaddy and have never seen that issue. But their databases are not perfect I can tell you that.

i thnk godaddy have some problem this days..but they don't say that..
i use godaddy's auction to buy domains..as a rule domain will be automaically transferd to my domain center on the 7th day.but my last 4 transaction..godaddy didi't transferd me those on time..i have sent mail to support then after 24 hours they transfer the domains..but in previous time..they always transferd domain in time. They should fix their problems.

Its a big company.. I'm sure they're working out their kinks still... As for domain registration... you should keep trying to register it... or maybe it is already taken... sometimes systems get lost in broken error reporting b/c they're catching something that isn't even swimming. It might not have been available for years and had an error showing it was... try checking http://www.who.is or one of the other catch eyes.. I've had errors before all across the board where domains were registered for years and when I searched them they'd show up as available when they were reg'ed for years ahead.. GoDaddy isn't bad.. have you tried calling support... if you complain on the phone they'll get it done for you... they don't like angry customers... its negative to their business and pushes away potential new and returning customers.. it might be taken by now though...

I have been using GoDaddy to register numerous domains since 2005 and they've never given me a single problem even though a lot of people say they suck.

    Hello,

Godaddy is a full fledged registrar and if they returned that the domain was available for registration and that registration did not complete then only a couple possibilities exist 1) It was available when you added it to your cart and was registered by someone else prior to checkout completion, or 2) it was a rare error within their system.

I have had former occur twice with me over the past year, someone was a little faster on the draw during the hectic 2:05 to 2:35 PM Est daily drop period.
