I suggest you don't use godaddy hosting.

They are good registrar but not good host.

I paid for 1 year hosting at godaddy, but I moved to hostgator only after 1 month.

Support is not good. They don't support all rss feeds. I had the basic hositng plan, and there was no Cpanel.

I applied my standard Google test -
A search for "hostgator sucks" = 708 results
A search for "godaddy sucks" = 7,430 results

I consider a difference of over 10 times to be very significant.
    Case closed, for me anyway.

I second that. I have a baby plan with them 2 years ago and their support is bad ( maybe i use the wrong word ). I call them once and department A pass me to department B and so on. As a result, i rent a server with other server provider. Btw, they are good domain name registrar.

This is godaddy's business model and the way they make money from hosting package. To be honest, you can get better plan if you do some research. Example:

Use a local host provider in your city. do a google search for "web hosting (your city and province/state)"

I had one year hosting with Godaddy, was very happy to get rid off. Why?.
SSH not supported, it's save so much time compared with single file ftp upload, upload a script in a zip or tar file, and login with putty and unzip it in a flash.
    WGET not supported.
Could use only one email address for each domain unless you pay more.
    Basic webstats.
    Slow loading control panel.
The Godaddy style is not appealing.
    Never had downtime though.

Everything is fine with godaddy except that SMTP email is cut off to 250 per day.

I have Godaddy & Hostgator but agree with most that Godaddy is great for buying domains but hostgator is better for hosting and live support chat beats godaddy's 12hr ish email response time.

Godaddy is the worst WebHost,i have ever seen.
The support is ht worst in th world.
I had a dedicated server for 600$,but they made me lose my 3 months and time only. But theeir servers are so worse that, they dont even support Jooma specs. I had to ask for the complete refund then.
