Never buy hosting from a domain company, and never buy domains from a hosting company.

    It's just that simple :p

I hate godaddy domains, when I go onto their site I have to accept about 10 certificates, and they're always trying to sell you stuff! Namecheap is so much better, it's nice and clean, not many ads.

I just canceled my hosting account for this exact reason. I can't belive just how many clicks it takes to get to your "CPANEL". Pathetic. I have most of my domains at aSmallOrange and couldn't be happier with their interface of their support.

Don't Go Daddy use Metropolis for hosting? Is same thing what you're talking about?

Many people say it sucks, but for what reason?

Can you use PHP for basic sites? You can use FTP, but can you FTP using something like Dreamweaver?

I think people expect alot more out of this service, but for a basic site I can't see what the problem is with them?

GoDaddy's hosting doesn't suck. It's alright. Nothing special, but it's alright. I used it for a while but have since switched to another host, now GoDaddy just manages my domains.
