    Hi,
I have just got an hosting pack with godaddy.com but I am very very confused by the functionality .
At some places they mention "enter a password for FTP""
Then when I entered and setup an account , the confirmation said , "You will be able to login to your HOSTING manager" to upload pages etc. "

What is this some sort of a webpage uploader like Yahoo file manager or a Proper FTP account ?
I am totally confused and have sent them an email but have not heard yet .
Any experiences with their hosting ? Anyone ?

    regards
    Jeet

I use them for some very simple sites. They have standard FTP compatibility. They also have a crude hosting manager but I haven't used it except to setup a database.

    Thanks for the replies .
The site is up now . And yes even I find CPanel better for hosting .
Although this is a purchase already made by a client and they wanted website design only.
    Thanks for replies .
    Bye

Personally I would never use a domain registar as a hosting company and of course vice versa...

I wouldn't trust godaddy. Check some webhosting forums for honest reviews.
And don't go for the cheapest Host. You get what you pay for. I signed up for the reseller plan at bliksemhosting.com. Hostgator.com also comes highly recommended.
