Godaddy DOMAIN PROTECTION is FRUSTRATING!!!

Does anyone here have experience trying to cancel the domain protection service on your domains with Godaddy?

After sending them all the requested documents, they keep insisting that it is insufficient to confirm that i'm the actual owner and keep asking for more! Worse thing is that these domain protection guys are not supported in the same way as Godaddy main clients. They only operate THRU EMAIL. And the support at Godaddy basically knows nothing abt this process.

So basically, I'm pretty much screwed if they choose to fool with us cause no one seems to care.

This is so frustrating. Anyone has experience like that?

    Sorry to hear that.
But so far i don't have any bad experience about the private whois i bought from GD.
Maybe you should try call them up and i believe this way it will solve your problem more faster than using email.

I think you need to cancel it through domainsbyproxy, not godaddy directly.
Check your old emails for account info for the domainsbyproxy account.

Had the same problem, but after sending some couple of documents, it was solved. I call them about the problem and they explain it to me very wisely, I advise you to do the same. Good luck
