I have recently bought a domain and web hosting from godaddy.com. I wanted to build my website however I made a mistake unintentionally. I applied "a free Hosting credit," and activated "Free Hosting with domain - Economy Hosting - (Free with Domain)". I noticed i can't use wordpress . so i bought a new paid hosting and now, I cannot use this hosting account with my domain. Because when I tried to setup my hosting account and to enter my domain name, I receive the message below in Account details of the Hosting Control Center: Your domain xxxxxxxxx.com is not available for this hosting account. Setup can not continue because this domain is being used by the following application: Hosting How can I attach my domain name to my paid hosting account?
Yes. If you can't figure it out then just call their customer support. I believe they are there 24hrs a day. Good luck dealing with the annoying hold music, though.
You should have a change domain link in your free hosting account. Just change it to an unuseddomainnames.com and then you can assign your web hosting account to your domain name.
There is a provision to do that..I had done this once..dun remember how I had managed at that time though..
You need to deactivate your economy hosting first....go back delete your economy hosting for domain...then purchase deluxe hosting, and install wordpress...I done same thing...and it's working
