I just had a domain appraised by GoDaddy, it was a Certified Domain Appraisal.

How accurate are certified godaddy domain appraisals?

Does anyone have any experience in having a domain appraised by them and then selling it for similarto what they appraised it as?

Agreed. For most domains appraisals are worthless.
    "Certified" by who?

your domain is worthless, better off taking any money you want to spend on an appraisal and buy something useful or save it for something better. Don't waste your time with free or paid appraisals and probably shouldnt waste your time with .biz either.

I'd put the money into the site, so you could actually sell the site whole.

the amount of seo work in this post is impressive. And what exactly is your experience with domain names and why would anyone give you a penny to appraise a domain name? It's award winning huh? What award? From who?

All these appraisals sux. Domain is worth what someone is willing to pay for.

I've got some nice business domain names, but I rarely can find some end-user that understands value of domain and got spare cash equal to domain value. Best way to appraise is to ask other domainers, they got experience what can be sold for how much.

Once I've bought 4 certified appraisals, totally different domains with different value maybe ranging from 500-4000$, 1000-10,000$ for rich end-user.
Appraisals ranging at 1100-1300$. I've paid something like 150-200$ for that. Never ever.
