Godaddy does not accept paypal !!!!!!

    Well as of now its working fine for me. I don't get a clue why godaddy will remove the paypal option if its down for some time:rolleyes:

    paypal was doin some maitenence today... so they might have just aken it off so it wouldnt screw anythign up

    it should be there! it could be on your location and your type of paypal you have on your area... maybe try to register some other time, there might be just some maintenace going on...

    Yes I registered a domain today around 4PM EST and I miss the Paypal option and got upset for a moment :D, I had to throw the CC to register the domain.

    you can register a domain with an unverified pp account, i've bought lots before i was verified.

    u can register an account without any paypal account

    but if u want to register a domain name then u require a VERIFIED PAYPAL at godaddy

    well i must be special then, i definately bought 10-12 domain names with them before i was verified, i only verified last month.

    I don't know about PayPal being down, but GoDaddy only accepts PayPal if your account is backed with a credit card. I've complained to them for nearly two years, but gave up and added my credit card. They don't actually take money from the card, they just use it as a backup. It's bizarre but true. (And then there are those hosts who don't accept PayPal at all.)

    yeah my account on godaddy was always backed up with a credit card, perhaps thats why they accepted payment from my then unverified paypal account

    It's the same with ebay.. why would you spend 2 years complaining!? That's just completely illogical. It's for security purposes, quite obviously.
