I definitely prefer Name.com. It's become my registrar of choice within the last few weeks. I like GoDaddy, but I find their interface to be a bit clunky and registering domains there isn't always the easiest thing.

Godaddy all the way for professionalism. If you are serious about buying and selling domains, then go godaddy.

no one uses 1and1.com ? 6.99/year, every year not just new registrations, free private whois, I used to use godaddy but switched to 1and1 a year or so ago - I find it much much better then GD.

    Never heard of name.com
so I'm going with GoDaddy, even though the name reminds me of a pedophiles website and I don't like them

    namecheap.com ftw ;)

FYI, name.com no longer has free private whois... perhaps this issue needs to be re-discussed.

Godaddy is the biggest domain registrar. But see that you buy with them only when there are offers :)

    Hi there,

Whois privacy is still free with the code FREEWHOIS, which at this time does not have an expiration date. :)

We offer new promotional coupons every month. We post them to our blog, but you can also find them on the 'Promo Codes' tab on our Facebook page or on domainpromocodes.com. Cheers!
