Google would only buy godaddy so they can shut it down.

Notice when they purchased dmoz, it was solely to shut it down.
    and ensure it goes extinct.

Just few years ago they bought DoubleClick for 3.1 Billion thats 3100 millions.

    that's like 3000 millions . and then 100 more

solely to shut it down and ensure it goes extinct.

they bought youtube for 1.5billion and then they got behind
the microphone and told everyone every investor that
youtube's revenues were so lacking any significance that they
marked it on their Company Revenue papers as ' no value '...

    i think they called it " non-monetary value "
it's a profit company and they called it "non-monetary-value"..

i am guessing it was a true love story that shows up
inside wall street numbers just like how some people say
"THESE COOKIES WERE BAKED/COOKED WITH LOVE"

so you know, they paid 1.5 billion and then they said
it brings ' no value ' to the company.

( by the way this is actually logical to those who get the
point, google only bought them to stop negative videos
    being made about google. )..

it's kind of like .. throwing a steak infront of a dog that wants
to attack you, kind of a concept.

or like in prison, you give a slice of your sandwich to
one of the gangsters you want to turn into your company.

i think that goes for double click too. and then yeh..
you ensure the dog is eliminated. so no more steaks can
    be wasted.

If you think about it, when they bought doubleclick for 3.1 billion
    and youtube for 1.5billion.

it's almost as if no-body even spoke about the bigger
purchase, everyone was talking about how 1.5billion was too much
for a youtube that was gonna be around.

and $3.1 billion was too little for a company they were simply
    going to throw into trash.

They bought Feedburner for $100million. it's almost as if
they do not have anyone who can code anything in google.

feedburner is the simplest concept ever, no intelligence required
    to code it.

They purchased On2 solely for the purposes of hiring their
employees, nothing more. and to them it was worth $106million.

in other words, people are cheaper than pages with some simple
    codes to google.

They purchased AdMob less than a year ago for 3 quarters
of a Billion, solely for the purposes of shutting it down.

By the way some of these companies they buy, they buy it
from bigger parent companies so that the parent company can
say nice things about google in the media since most of these
transactions are paid with stock options that can not be cashed
    instantly.

It's kind of like you purchasing an american flag so that americans
wont drop bombs on your house.

or america hiring just 1 middle easterner so that middle easters
wont throw shoes at george bush the criminal piece of shiet.

They purchased ' Picasa' the price is not known but the terminology
    is spanish...

Usually tho, they just buy small companies that are causing
damage to google if they were to not be purchased and eliminated
    just like dmoz.org as example.

it's kind of like permitting the guy overseas come to U.S. where
you can make an arrest and then throw him into prison.

they permit the company to go into google and be sold to google
so google can destroy it. the cost of the company is usually
the cost of the plane ticket. paid by google.

smart moves dudez, cant relate tho.

i am into britney spears songs mostly.

If they can not purchase your company, that does not mean they
will remove you from their web site search results.

infact in WIKIPEDIA.ORG example, google is letting it
live inside google search results. but if wikipedia.org were to
ever sell advertising, then it would suddenly lose popularity
    within google.

in other words, every coprighted material inside wikipedia..
companies wont sue them because they believe wikipedia is
    a non-profit orgnization.

and google loves them, because it is a nonprofit organization
thus copyrighted content can be fed into google
where the real money is being made from advertisers.

if wikipedia were to ever take a scoop of the profits
google makes from wikipedia, then wikipedia would start
    fading away.

in other words, soon as somebody buys wikipedia...
to make profits from it, it will be the beginning of it's end.

it stays alive only because google is using it as a descreet
    non-associated content source.

but shhhh, it's a double secret. don't tell anyone about this
or google will feel lucky about buying you out and making
you sign a paper that says you will not speak on the internet
about google for the next 20 years.

If google purchased wikipedia then they would be
bombarded with trademark and copyright lawsuits.

google is not purchasing wikipedia on purpose

so that they can use wikipedia through their search
    engine.

    it's a nice trick.

    humanity is sleeping tho.

    People just dont get it.

Well Google has a good record of making acquired company better than before, When they bought out GrandCentral, they released a completely free version of their service for no catch(Google Voice).

Well, i think the best example we can go by
at this point to find out how good google is at
    making companies better is: YouTube

Right now, when i go on youtube, its almost soo
dull, so ugly, the front page has featured videos
made up of clowns and losers, all stupid stuff, nothing
    interesting, ugliness at it's maximum.

its usually homos on the front page.

every video you look featured on youtube's front page
is a homo with lipstick all over it's face. it's a joke.

but i guess it is what makes google money.

it somehow translates into money. it's one of those
concepts when if google takes over the TV of the internet
and makes sure people do not think..

it makes them not think too much about pouring
all of their investments into google's stock.

when people do not think on this planet google wins.

the same way george bush won by ensuring people
    did not think too much.

it's kind of like bank of america makes sure that
you do not think too much about what the $35 overdraft
fee is about. if you think about it too much then their
    revenues go down.

it's a paris hilton kind of a concept. where intelligence
    equates to no money.

PBS is/was a tv channel that made people think.
and as a result they went broke.

google's message to humanity is " just be a homo
and pour all of your life on google and don't ever
use any other web site "

When larry page or google founders code, the text
is black and the background is white. but google's
front page. it's a colorful logo, like a circus made for
    homos.

i just dont get it, is google popular because the
word "Google" looks like the word "God" or is it because
it looks like the word " Gay " ?

    what does Gmail even mean?

there is an fbi agent that takes my photos and writes
bunch of lies on his papers, he is fat ugly chubby and old
and shaves only once every 6 days..

he has a gmail account, when i looked into it, it's bunch
    of lols and crap..

listen, i want to say that perhaps i am just a joker
and i know nothing about google but here's a fact.

for 8 years between the years of 2001 and 2008..
i drove to google hq and had a burger there.

usually in n out burger. being close to the hq gives you
ability to hear the noises that are in the air.

trust me, i heard things that are beyond what
    a human can understand.

larry page is not your ordinary human, they
do "voodoo". to get rich, and their voodoo includes
acting on feelings, even if feelings are evil.

in other words they feel "lucky" about murdering
the planet and being the last ones to enjoy
    some pleasure on it.

you might say there is no such thing.

well, take tom cruise for example. he calls
himself " the last sammurai " or "the last lizard in the universe".

larry page is no different than tom cruise
    idealogy wise.

they all know, in the end universe zeros out to
void/nothing. and thus no matter how many people
they kill, there wont be such thing as hell for them.

you might say delusional sure. there is a reason
earth comes up with a plan to find a hot chick
for every person out there that is up to no good
and wants to do evil. it is hoping to slow their evil down.

that's why they say " opposites attract"

try being evil for a day, and you'll notice earth is
sending hot chicks to your way.

try being "super nice" for a day and earth sends
fbi towards you. ( evil ones ).

it's all about cancelling things out. or fixing things
up, or neutralizing the both sides. etc...

until it can turn void. ( permanent peace ).

    it's almost automatic.

By the way one should ask..

'HOW DID LARRY PAGE COME UP WITH THE TERM ' DO NO EVIL ' "...

what exactly did he experienment with
that he understands that "do no evil" line so well?

why wont humanity think a little bit
    just for 1 tiny second.

    it's simple basic logic.

    But here's the thing.

Let's say you are EVIL, and you want to
get rich and make Europe jealous.

from the standpoint of Europe, you are evil.

so what europe will do is, calculate that if
europe sends you a hot chick that is your age
that is european, you will marry her and as a result
you wont be able to run for the presidency in
america. thus europe wins, and america wins too.

europe and america agree to go forward and do this
to stop you from becoming the president because
there is somebody else who wants to become the
    president.

it's all mixy like that, it's not really "evil" or "being nice"

    it's all about interests.

and google has interests, thus if a plan out there that
causes 1000's to die in middle east, and the plan says..

" it is executable/plotable in a manner that laws can not go against
    google "..

google will do it because it is in their best company interest.

you know the non-complex version of this would be...
google knows tomorrow there will be more iraqi and american
deaths in middle east, they can put a message on their web site
and tell them to "be nice"..

but they wont do that, because it is not in their best
    company interest.

but here's another secret, i could be writing all of these
things about google on purpose, because i might know i am
being investigated by fbi, cia, irs, secret service, google, etc..
and i just want to make them read things so they can
infect the entire U.S. government with my imagination
    and crush google's stock.

it might all be just a video game for me.

we just don't know who the evil one is. i already told
fbi i would like to do 2 years in prison but they just
wont let me. it appears they too want google to go down
    in flames.

I hope the news is for real... or else it might turn out to be a ploy by the competition to scare off some of its regular customers!

    You have a point Mohie!

Let's take a look at what we will all need to fork out:

According to DP, there is about 389,221 regsitered users to this forum. If we could somehow get everyone to join in, each member will need to pay: $2,569.23
According to DP, only 59,240 of the 389,221 are active. If we only look at active users, each member will need to pay: $16,880.48

Well, registering a company would be a nightmare, to start with.

    But it could be interesting!
