Godaddy used to advertise in a super bowl final for $40 million. Correct me if my figure is wrong. Do you think Godaddy should instead invest in faster and slicker servers to speed up its domain and hosting service? Rather than throwing huge amount of money to a moment of fame in super bowl?
I agree with you. They should invest those amount of money in speed up there services, instead of spending it at a super bowl commercial. But, like always, that's mine (our) opinion !!!
It's not about what you think is better but what Godaddy believes is best for its marketing strategy. Good fast and realiable servers don't sell as well as nude-like chicks and sportmen/women.
